DJ MESTA (Torino)

Pro-snowboarder and pioneer of the half-pipe discipline, Dj Mesta is one of the top Italian representatives of the hip hop music. He was introduced to the hip hop culture through the breakdance at the age of 12. Dj since more that ten years, in the 1993 moved to London. Active in the clubs and mixtape scene, DJ Mesta played in the best clubs of the City, often with his friends Dj Kofi (English DMC champion) and Shortee Blits (Kiss FM), but even with world famous DJs and groups (Derek B, Jazzy B/Soul II Soul, The Roots).
Working as a freelance for many international publications (Echoes, AL magazine) and foreign correspondent for radio Station One (MI) he knew the stars and the big fishes of the music industry. Manager for II Dark Records, producer of Bloodhoundz and Da Regiment, promoter for Hardzone/Full Service Promotions (Def Jam, VP etc.) and TimeZone, pioneer of the international street team for Bad Boy (P Diddy), instructor of “Ghetto Grammar” together with TY, promoter of the legendary freestyle sessions “Cream of the Crop”, in 2000 came back to Italy bringing with him his experiences.
