LAURA MARS (Reggio Emilia)

The Laura Mars project is born at the end of the 1999 from Laura Rebuttini, together with the guitarist Erik Montanari. Laura “Rebu” loved the name Laura Mars (push away any possible link with the snack) at first sight, because of its soft, full and round sound. Afterwards she discovered that the “Eyes of Laura Mars” it’s a thriller movie and that the main character is a famous fashion photographer, very famous and at the same time criticized for the provocative tone of her flicks in that years (the 70s). A woman full of grit, temper, passion, sensuality and a sensibility so incredible that she has the gift to see through the eyes of a killer while he’s committing his homicides. These are some of the characteristics that Rebuttini tries to spread from the music of this group.
